TERMS AND CONDITIONS - MAGIC 2026

1. The show

The event takes place on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at Maaspodium, Sint-Jobsweg 3, 3024 EH Rotterdam. Doors open at 20:00; the show runs from 20:30 to approximately 21:30.

By buying a ticket, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone you buy tickets for.

2. Tickets and prices

  • Adult ticket: €15.00. Kids ticket (up to and including 12 years old on the day of the event): €10.00.

  • A payment fee of €0.32 per order is added to cover the cost of the iDEAL payment. It is shown before you pay.

  • All prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable.

  • Payment is by iDEAL only, handled securely by our payment provider, Mollie. We never see or store your bank details. Your order is confirmed once payment is completed. You then receive your tickets by email as a PDF.

  • Each ticket has its own QR code, which is valid for one person, one entry. The first scan counts; copies are refused.

  • Keep your tickets safe and don't share the QR code online. We are not responsible for tickets that are lost, copied or used by someone else.

  • Tickets may not be resold for more than the price paid, or used for commercial purposes. We may cancel tickets that were resold in breach of this rule, without a refund.

  • We may ask for proof of age for Kids tickets.

3. No right of withdrawal, refunds and exchanges

Tickets are for a leisure event on a specific date. Under Dutch and EU consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal therefore does not apply (article 6:230p BW). Tickets cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged, except as described in section 4.

If you can't attend, you may give your ticket to someone else. Just forward the PDF: the QR code is valid for whoever shows it first. Reselling above the price paid is not allowed (section 2).

4. Cancellation or changes by us

  • If we cancel the event, you receive a refund of the full amount paid, excluding the payment fee, to the payment method you used, within 14 days.

  • If the event is moved to a new date or venue, your ticket stays valid for the new date. If you can't attend on the new date, you can request a refund within 14 days of our announcement.

  • Changes to the programme, running order or performers don't give a right to a refund.

  • We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you make in connection with the event.

5. At the event

  • Please arrive on time. Latecomers are admitted at a suitable moment so the performance isn't disturbed.

  • The house rules of Maaspodium apply. Please follow instructions from our team and venue staff.

  • We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who behaves in an unsafe or disruptive way, or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, without a refund.

  • You're welcome to take photos and film during the show. Please don't use flash, and don't block the view of the guests around you.

6. Photos and video

We take photos and film at MAGIC 2026 to capture the event and to promote Dance Place.

  • Our photographers and videographers will be working throughout the event, including in the audience and at the entrance. By attending, you may appear in photos or video.

  • We may use this material on our website, social media, newsletters, flyers, posters and in future promotion of Dance Place and its events. We don't sell it to third parties.

  • Opting out: if you don't want to be photographed or filmed recognisably, tell our team at the entrance. We will do our best to keep you out of shots. You can also email danceplace.nl@gmail.com at any time to ask us to remove a photo of you or your child that we have published. We will remove it from our own channels as soon as reasonably possible.

  • We are careful with images of children in the audience. We won't use close-up portraits of audience members' children in promotion without a parent's permission.

  • Performers are photographed and filmed under separate arrangements made with Dance Place.

7. Your personal data

  • What we collect: when you buy tickets we store your name, email address, your order (ticket types, amount, date) and the ticket check-in status.

  • Why: to process your order and payment, send your tickets and a reminder the day before the event, check tickets at the door, and contact you about changes to the event.

  • Who processes it: Mollie (payments) and Google (order administration and email) process data on our behalf. We don't sell your data or share it for other people's marketing.

8. Liability

  • You attend the event at your own risk.

  • We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to your belongings, or for injury, unless caused by our intent or gross negligence.

  • Our liability is in all cases limited to the price you paid for your tickets.

  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Force majeure

We are not liable if the event can't take place, or can't take place as planned, because of circumstances beyond our control. Examples are extreme weather, government measures, illness of key performers, or problems at the venue. In that case section 4 applies.

10. Other

  • Dutch law applies to these terms and your ticket purchase. Disputes are handled by the competent court in the Netherlands.

  • We may update these terms. The version published on our website at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
